Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers about wallet access, roles, evidence, asset lifecycle and integrations.

Version 1.0 - effective 4 September 2026

Access and identity

How do I access RWAT?

Start on the RWAT home page, choose your role and sign in through your approved IBDCP Wallet. Complete the requested OTP and approve the short-lived authorisation request.

Why is KYC or KYB required?

Verified identity, organisation and jurisdiction data determine whether a person may perform a controlled action. One approval does not automatically grant every permission.

Does RWAT see my recovery phrase?

No. Wallet secrets and recovery material remain controlled by the wallet. RWAT receives only authorised identity, role and scope claims.

Assets and evidence

What makes an asset investable?

An asset must pass applicable ownership, rights, valuation, custody, insurance, compliance and disclosure checks.

Does a digital proof replace legal documents?

No. IBDCP proves integrity, authority and lifecycle state. Legal effect still depends on governing documents, official records and competent parties.

Roles and permissions

Which roles are supported?

RWAT separates investor, issuer or asset owner, control functions and administration. Permissions bind to the verified wallet and organisation.

Can one person have more than one role?

Yes, when approved, but separation-of-duties rules can prevent conflicting actions or self-approval.

Technology and integrations

What is an IBDCP proof?

It is a verifiable record binding an event to its authority, evidence, policy decision, time and lifecycle context.

Can another platform integrate?

Approved partners can use versioned APIs and canonical lifecycle envelopes. See the documentation and API Terms.

Problems and support

My wallet login did not complete. What should I do?

Return to RWAT and start a fresh sign-in. Use the same browser, complete OTP promptly and approve only a request showing the verified RWAT domain. Never send a password, OTP or recovery phrase to support.
